Dov Bulka 和 David Mayhew 合著的《Efficient C++: Performance Programming Techniques》（《提高C++性能的编程技术》）也值得一看。这本超薄小书聚焦于高性能C++应用程序开发。两位作者都是IBM软件专家，都工作于对性能要求极高的系统构建领域，本书是他们的经验之谈。也有人不喜欢这本书，因为它花了不少的篇幅讲述和C++无关的东西，我却恰恰因为这一点而对这本书产生好感，正是这些东西让我开阔了眼界。
